This dwarf flowering cherry is a great specimen for bonsai due its small size (5′ X 5′) and its zig-zag stems. Flowers are white with pink that is more pronounced in the center and yellow stamen. Foliage is green and the leaves are highly serrated. Fall color is a mixture of orange, yellow and red.
Prunus incisa is native to Hondo, Japan.
Moist but well drained soil.
