This blue-green succulent sub-shrub has thin round leaves that group up a tall, vertical stem. The leaves grow up the stem opposite of each other, facing the stem as they grow upwards. The edges of the leaves turn a reddish-pink when stressed by sun, cold or lack of water. It has red bell-shaped flowers that bloom late winter.
Kalanchoe marnieriana is native to Madagascar.
Needs a well-drained soil with limited water especially in winter.
Little plants start growing on the tips of the leaves even before they fall.
