Blooms in late spring or early summer. Comes from sandstone and granite slopes in the Southwestern Cape, South Africa. It is a fairly small Glad, reaching only about 8″ tall. Its flowers are a peach with a vibrant streak running down each petals midrib. The top petal tends to droop down a bit, hiding its throat. There are about 6 to 8 up-facing buds on each bloom-scape.
Gladiolus priorii is native to South Africa.
It may be short lived and needs to be regenerated from seed.
