Pink Sugar produces showy flowers over a long period of time, starting in late spring and going until first frost. For us that means almost all year round. The African Daisies are compact bushy perennials that grow to 10″ to 14″ and have 3″ blossoms. Pink Sugar produces dark pink flowers with an orange and a touch of magenta around the dark center. Flowers close up at night and wait for the sun before opening. Too much heat will stop flowering. Evergreen foliage is lobed and silver-green, covered with fine hairs.
Arctotis is native to South Africa.
Arctotis like a free draining soil and should not be over watered. Full sun for best flowering. Deadhead to promote continued bloom.
This plant is a result of the breeding program of Graham Noel Brown of Nuflora International in New South Wales, Australia.
