This is a sport of Agave ‘Kissho Kan’ and has a much wider variegation band on the leaves. It is slightly slower growing. Symmetrical rosette of silver-blue to blue-green leaves bordered in a creamy white. Each leaf has the impression of the leaf that came before it imprinted into it. Leaf spines emerge yellow then change to light-brown and eventually a dark cinnamon color.
Each rosette grows up to about 15″ tall and 18″ wide. Eventually it will flower and die (that could take 100 years, but more likely 15 to 20 years) but will provide pups before that happens.
Low maintenance. Provide plenty of light and do not over water. Free draining soil is required and keep soil away from the crown of the plant. I use chicken grit on the top of the plant to ensure moisture does not stay where it would rot the crown.
Will eventually produce pups
