This is a mid-sized Japanese maple. ‘First Ghost’ has fresh spring color that is predominately creamy white or yellow with dark veins and red margins. The variegation on ‘First Ghost’ holds longer into the summer than most reticulated cultivars, but eventually turns in to dark green veining on a lighter green background. Fall color is bright orange to red.
