This is another genus that utilizes the common name of African Daisy. There are about 70 species of perennials, endemic to eastern Africa and the Arabian peninsula. They are often grown as annuals although in milder climates they often continue to grow and bloom sporadically even through winter.
While they prefer a warm, sunny position with rich soil, they tolerate partial shade, poor soil, salt and drought.
