Liriope is a genus of clump forming, low, grass-like, evergreen flowering plants from East Asia and Southeast Asia. They require acidic to neutral well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade. They tolerate almost full shade but growth is slow and leaves are elongated under those conditions.
