Haworthia is a genus consisting of 42 species of stemless succulent perennials endemic to Southern Africa. They are relatively small, and most consist of low-growing rosettes of succulent leaves, often bearing white tubercles, and with tubular flowers in racemes. They used to be part of the Aloe genus.
