One of several species that are called Cypress. They come from warm temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere. They are evergreen trees or large shrubs, with heights ranging from 12 to 125 feet. The leaves are scale-like, arranged in opposite pairs. They have small cones which are also scaled.
